We use as few cookies as we can. We do not use third-party tracking. The cookie banner you saw on your first visit records only your preference on whether to allow analytics.

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file (or, in our case, a small value stored in your browser's localStorage) which a website saves to your device when you visit. It lets the site remember things between visits — for example, that you have already dismissed a banner.

Third-party resources
Two third-party resources load on the pages of this site:
- Google Fonts — serves the Fraunces, DM Sans, and IBM Plex Mono typefaces. Google's own cookie policy applies.
- OpenStreetMap — serves the map iframe on our contact page. OSM's own privacy notice applies; OSM does not set tracking cookies.
- Cloudflare CDN (for Tailwind & Font Awesome) — serves the styling and icon libraries; Cloudflare's own privacy notice applies.
How to decline cookies
The cookie banner offers two choices — ‘Accept’ and ‘Essential only’. The latter disables the analytics cookie. Your choice is remembered for future visits to this site on the same browser.
You can also disable cookies (or all of localStorage) at the browser level. Each browser's instructions are different; the All About Cookies website has a useful summary at allaboutcookies.org.
Changes
If we add or remove any cookie, we will update this page and flag the change in the next quarterly dispatch. The ‘last updated’ date at the top is the authoritative record.
